The project “Gift of Creativity – Small School of Art” has officially started on the 29th. June in the Inn on
Zvezdari.
Titled “Playing Pencil on Paper”, the first lesson consisted of drawing with a graphite pencil. Kids are
had the task of freely filling the paper with as many different lines as possible and then turning it
paper finds shapes and surfaces that are familiar to them and emphasizes them. Children are spontaneous
composed a drawing, and then additionally created various effects with the help of pencil, eraser and paper
handkerchiefs, to conjure the resulting shapes. The children’s reaction to this task was more than good.
The creation of “unusual” drawings was very successful.
In the second lesson, the children had the task of drawing an animal of their choice. Based on the example,
they were shown how to draw in a simple way, using basic shapes
certain objects and animals. For the topic of their work, the children chose to draw a snail, with the task of yes
emphasize its texture. Using graphite pencils, the children responded to the task by using and
the effects they learned in the last class.
What makes us especially happy is that the number of children who attended the workshops increased in the second
in relation to the first hour. We hope that we will be able to maintain their interest, through our own
workshops and their creative work know, love and appreciate art.
