On the occasion of the Day of Children with Cancer, the humanitarian action “Kilometer of Hair” has started. The Association for the Affirmation of Culture invites everyone who plans to get a haircut in the coming period, to do so in one of the partner hair salons, and thus make it at least a little easier for sick children to feel more comfortable in their environment.
The minimum length that can be donated is 15 cm, from one end of each hair, twisted into a ponytail or braid and tightly tied with an elastic band. Hair must be natural or dyed, never bleached or gray. Detailed instructions regarding hair donation can be read HERE .
