The ceremonial presentation of awards to the most successful Serbian young entrepreneurs and the closing of the Digital Economy for Balanced and Resilient Economic Development project, which is being implemented by the Association for the Affirmation of Culture under the auspices of the NCR Foundation, was held last night in a packed hall of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
A large number of representatives of state institutions, the diplomatic corps, as well as representatives of the most important business associations attended the ceremony of the ceremonial closing of the project and the awarding of awards to the best participants of the Academy from all parts of Serbia.
During the duration of the project, which was financed by the NCR Foundation, about 200 young people from 10 cities in Serbia were involved. Through two generations of the free Entrepreneurship Academy, more than 30 young people a year have had the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills and start their own business ventures. The digital resource center that was created as part of this project has more than 200 contents necessary for starting entrepreneurial initiatives, and so far it has been visited by 220,000 people.

During the closing ceremony of the project, the winner of last year’s Entrepreneurship Academy, Hristina Lazarevic Milošević, whose application “Avoid Additives” was downloaded in more than 170 countries of the world, and this year’s winner Nikola Milanović, who with his speech gave a wind behind everyone who wants to get involved, received plaques in entrepreneurial waters.
In front of the NCR Foundation, Stefan Lazarevic, Vice President of Global Operations and General Manager for Serbia of NCR Voyix, spoke, who emphasized the importance of the Digital Economy project for balanced and resilient economic development for Serbia, stressing the importance of investing in young people, stressing that they create the future of our country.
Igor Kecman, manager of the Academy of Entrepreneurship, referred all young people who want to enter the entrepreneurial waters to the Digital Resource Center
– If you recognize the entrepreneurial spirit in yourself, know that it is only a matter of time before you reach your goal. The knowledge provided by the Academy of Entrepreneurship will make that time much shorter, so go ahead.
